Desert, valleys bake as beaches chill
(Cirrocumulus clouds - Saturday, June 24th, 2006)The heat is on in the valleys and deserts.
Temperatures will be in the lower 90s to near 102 in the San Fernando, San Gabriel, Santa Clarita valleys on Sunday...100 to 107 out in the valleys of the Inland Empire.
The deserts will see temperatures ranging from 102 high deserts to the lower 110's in the low deserts Sunday.
Cool temperatures will continue at the beaches Sunday...as a weak marine influence dominates.
Temperatures at the beaches will range from the middle 60s to the middle 70s.
Downtown Los Angeles will likely see temperatures Sunday in the middle to upper 80s.
