Fire continues to burn...

(Smoke filled sunrise - June 20th, 2006)

Fire continues to burn in the New Cuyuma area of Santa Barbara County.

The fire has burned apx. 14,745 acres and is 57% contained as of Thursday evening.

Temperatures in the area of the fire will be on the rise through the weekend...with temperatures in the Cuyuma valley ranging from the middle 90s to around 108 the next few days along with low dewpoints.
