Fire season

(Sunset: Mixed clouds & smog - Sunday, June 4th, 2006)

CDF declared the start of the 2006 fire season in 19 counties in California on Monday (including all southern California counties).

Already with tinder dry conditions there have brushfires in southern California.

The largest (apx. 360 acres) in the Hemet area of Riverside County. No structures were damaged in the fire.
