Castaic "Day" fire (Update)

(Smoky Sunrise - September 12th, 2006)

The "Day Fire" near Castaic has charred apx. 24,943 acres as of Tuesday evening and was 25 per-cent contained.

The flames intensified late Tuesday and forced road closures (including a small portion of the 5 FWY).
