Contrails

(Double Contrails - November 10th, 2006)

Jet trails (also known as Contrails) are form when hot humid air from jet exhaust mixes with environmental air of low vapor pressure and low temperature.

The double contrails pictured above were produced by 2 aircraft flying at an altitude around 34,000 feet or so.
