High fire threat
Dry and windy conditions will be responsible for a high fire threat across southern California through at least Friday.
A tight north to south pressure gradient will produce gusty winds (at times around 50 mph) through and just below canyons and passes...especially Thursday morning.
Red Flag warnings and fire weather watches are in effect for much of the southland through Friday afternoon.
