Showers possible for mid-week

A disturbance dropping south from central California will bring a chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms across the southland later Wednesday morning through early Wednesday evening.

Mostly of the showers during the daytime hours should be in Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties...then spread into the Inland Empire and San Diego county Wednesday evening.

Overall rainfall amounts will be on the lightside (mainly around a tenth of an inch).

Isolated thunderstorms may produce a waterspout or funnel clouds over the coastal waters.
