Another beautiful day...

(Eastern Mojave Desert - January 17th, 2007)

Dry conditions continue to plague the southland.

Downtown Los Angeles has only recieved 1.32" of precipitation since July 1st. Thats 4.35" below normal.

Normally Downtown LA should of had 5.67" of rain.

There is increasing signs that this trend will continue for the remainder of the rainy season...as the El~Nino is weakening.
