Showers and peaks of sun on Sunday
Scattered showers and some glimpses of the sun are in the forecast for the southland on Sunday...as an upper level system and associated frontal system moves through the region.The most widespread rain will occur during the morning hours...then taper to isolated showers in the afternoon.
Rainfall amounts will be under 1/4" for the most part...except favored west facing mountain slopes may recieve amounts ranging 1/4 to 1/2".
Some peaks of sun are expected in the late morning and afternoon as the storm system moves to the east of our area.
