Windy and record warmth Saturday
Gusty winds will continue to blow through a good portion of southern California on Saturday as a moderate off shore flow continues.The strongest winds will occur through and below canyons and passes of Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura and San Bernardino counties.
Gusts over 50 are not out of the question through early Saturday afternoon.
Other than a few cirrus clouds, skies will be mostly sunny with warm temperatures during Saturday.
Forecast high temperatures will reach again into the middle to upper 80s for downtown Los Angeles , middle 70s to the middle 80s in the valleys and in the middle 60s to the lower 70s at the beaches.
(The record high for downtown Los Angeles for Saturday, February 17th is 89 set back in 1890).
