Unsettled Tuesday for the southland
A Pacific storm system will bring unsettled weather to the southland on Tuesday.
The primary concern from this system will be the strong and gusty winds.
Winds will blow across all of southern California on Tuesday...slowly diminishing towards evening.
All of the southland is covered by some type of Wind Advisory or High Wind Warning.
The strongest winds will occur over the mountains of Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties where gusts to over 60 mph are possible.
It's not out of the question to see winds exceed 75 mph in some isolated locations of the San Gabriels and San Bernardino's.
As for precipitation from the system...
...Isolated to widely scattered showers and even isolated thunderstorm are possible today...with the greatest areal coverage during the morning hours.
Showers will diminish from west to east by early to mid afternoon with peaks of the sun likely in Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties by late morning or early afternoon.
