A few showers for Earth Day
A trough of low pressure moving through northern/central California will bring light showers to the southland Sunday afternoon and evening. Most areas will see amounts under one tenth of an inch...but some localized heavier amounts possible over the northern slopes of the Ventura and L.A. county mountains.
Temperatures for Earth Day will be in the 60s for most coastal and valley locations.
Locally gusty winds are likely over the mountains. Some gusts may exceed 30 mph at times in the afternoon and evening hours.
