7/7/7 will prove to be lucky for some southlanders...

(Vincent Thomas Bridge - March 2003)
7/7/7 will prove to be lucky for some southland residents...as temperatures will be much cooler than the previous several days.
Here are a few selected forcast high temperatures for Saturday...
Beverly Hills/Mid-City Los Angeles: upper 70s
Long Beach/San Pedro: upper 70s
Lompoc: upper 60s
Burbank: upper 80s
Newport Beach: upper 60s
San Diego (downtown area): lower 70s
Chula Vista: lower to middle 70s

Several models are suggesting by mid to late in the coming week... a south/southeast flow over the southland.
This will result in an increase in dewpoints over the mountains and deserts and an increasing threat of afternoon/evening thunderstorms.
So... stay tuned!!!
