Beginning of the monsoon season!?
(Cumulonimbus clouds at sunset)Increasing monsoon moisture will bring isolated showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and early evening hours over the mountains of Los Angeles...Ventura...San Bernardino...Riverside and San Diego counties for the next few days.
At this time... the best chance of showers and thunderstorms will be on Tuesday...as a weak disturbance tracks across the southland.
On Tuesday... there will be greater areal coverage the tstorm activity...with a chance of thunderstorms over the deserts and even a slight chance of a thunderstorm drifting westward off the mountains into the valleys of the IE.
For the coastal plain and valley areas... expect night and morning low clouds and fog for the next couple days along with cool temperatures along the coast... still above normal temperatures for the valleys...especially the valleys of the Inland Empire.
