Chance of thunderstorms next couple of days
***Updated at: 2:40pm/pdt, Monday, July 9th, 2007***A weak monsoon flow will develop early this week over the southland and much of the southwest region.
This will result in showers and thunderstorms (mainly over the mountain/desert locations) through at least mid-week.
A weak disturbance will pass over the southland late Monday night and early Tuesday morning. This will spark a few thunderstorms over the southland (mainly later Monday night through Tuesday morning.
There will be a continued risk of showers or thunderstorms (mainly over the mountains and deserts) Monday afternoon through Wednesday.
