Gloomy Tuesday for some

A weak "eddy" circulation will continue to produce extensive low clouds and fog along the coastal plain and most valley locations during Tuesday morning...then skies will become mostly sunny during the afternoon hours.

Daytime high temperatures will range from the upper 60s to the middle 70s along the immediate coast to the 80s in the coastal valleys...and in the upper 80s to the middle 90s in the valleys of the Inland Empire.

For Downtown Los Angeles... temperatures will reach into the upper 70s to around 80 during the early to mid afternoon hours Tuesday.
