Gradual decrease in tstorms over the mountains/deserts through the weekend

***Updated at: 11:45am/pdt, Friday, July 27th, 2007***
There will be gradual decrease thunderstorm activity over the next few days over the southland mountain and desert areas as high pressure begins to move east and airmass over the region dries out.
For the next few days... look for a few afternoon/evening thunderstorms... mainly from the San Bernardino range southward with an isolated thunderstorm possible over the the deserts.
For Friday, theres a risk for locally heavy rains over the southern mountains and some desert areas. Local flash flooding is possible through early Friday evening.
Otherwise... mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.
Patchy late night and morning low clouds and fog along the coast.
Temperatures will continue to be above seasonal normals for most areas through the weekend.
