Mid week southland weather outlook
A weakening trough of low pressure will continue to the onshore flow over the southland for the mid week period.
This will result in morning coastal/valley low clouds and fog...otherwise mostly sunny skies.
Locally breezy conditions can be expected during the afternoon and evening hours over the mountains and deserts.
Late this week through the weekend... high pressure over the Rockies will expand westward resulting in more sun than clouds along the coast and warmer temperatures...especially areas away from the immediate coast.
