Monsoonal flow to increase by mid-week

(Cumulonimbus clouds)

Moisture in easterly flow aloft will likely produce a few afternoon/evening showers & thunderstorms over the mountains of San Bernardino...Riverside and San Diego counties on Monday.

These chances will increase by mid-week over most mountain and desert areas of the southland.

Meanwhile... An onshore flow will continue the marine layer along the coast and coastal valley during the night and morning hours.
