Slight risk of thunderstorms on Tuesday

A south/southeast "monsoon" flow will lead to a slight risk of mainly "Dry" thunderstorm activity over the southland through Tuesday night.
Primary threats from any thunderstorm activity that does develop will be... locally gusty winds and cloud-to-ground lightning strikes.
Very little or no rainfall expected.
There will be a continued risk of mainly afternoon and early evening thunderstorms over the mountains and deserts through the week.
A disturbance may enhance the instability and lead to greater chance of thunderstorms over the far eastern portions of the southern California desert areas on late Wednesday morning through early Wednesday evening.
