Warm temperatures and a risk of thunderstorms through the weekend

(A few pre-dawn clouds)

An increasing in moisture through the weekend will lead to a slight chance of mainly afternoon/evening showers or thunderstorms over the southland mountain and desert areas. There is a very small risk of one of these storms making westward into the valleys (mainly Inland Empire and San Diego county).

Meanwhile... temperatures will be on the warm side for the next couple of days as the air flow turns more off shore.

Temperatures may reach or exceed the 100 degree mark in the interior valleys.
