What a change!

What a change for the southland...

A fairly strong onshore flow is bringing much cooler temperatures to the region along with night and morning low clouds and fog...extending inland to the valleys.

Some beach areas will struggle over the next few days to get out of the 60s...due to the gloom lingering into to the afternoon hours.

Meanwhile...
most areas will see high temperatures in the 70s...except in the 80s to the middle 90s in the far inland valleys.

As it looks right now... this pattern should persist at least into the middle part of next week!!!
