Wet weather for the last day of the work week
*Updated: 11:50am/pst, Friday, Nov. 30th, 2007*
So far (as of late Friday morning)...anywhere from one tenth of an inch to half an inch of rain has fallen across much of SoCal...with locally higher amounts along some foothills and mountain slopes
For the afternoon hours Friday... look for rain or rain showers continuing. Don't be too surprise to hear some thunder...especially in San Diego county.
Then tonight... the steady rain will become more showery...then begin to diminish in areal coverage through the overnight hours.
A few light showers may linger into the morning hours Saturday over the far south and eastern portions of southern California.
Looking ahead...
High pressure is expected to build in next week. This will likely produce a weak off shore flow and warmer temperatures.
