Strong off shore wind event possibly next week
Models still predicting a potentiall strong off shore wind event next Tuesday through Thursday (Thanksgiving).High pressure is forecast to build over the interior portions of the western U.S. next...resulting in a strong off shore flow over the southland.
The strongest winds will likely occur through and below passes and canyons...with some potentially damaging gusts just below the passes and canyons.
The difference with the off shore flow event from the previous ones....will be the temperatures...as the temperatures will actually be on the cool side.
