Strong winds will blow over much of the southland

A strong/cold low pressure will drop southward into the 4 cornets region on Saturday.
This will resul in strong/gusty winds over much of the region through at least Saturday afternoon.
The strongest gust will likely occur through and below passes and canyons. Gusts may reach or even exceed 70 mph at times in some locations late Friday night through early Saturday afternoon.
Unlike most off shore wind events... temperatures with this particular wind episode will be below the seasonal normals.
