An increasing chance of rain later Monday night through Tuesday night

A cold front will move through the southland late Tuesday afternoon/Tuesday night.
Light to moderate rainfall is expected for the afternoon hours on Tuesday with moderate to locally heavy rain fall possible from the early Tuesday evening through early Wednesday morning.
Local flash flooding along with mud or debris flows are possible over the burn areas of Santa Barbara, Ventura, LA, Orange counties along with the San Bernardino mountains and the Santa Ana mountains and adjacent foothills.
