Decreasing showers Wednesday

(Downtown San Diego/Lindbergh Airport - December 16th, 2007)

***Updated at: 04:28am/pst, Wednesday, December 19th, 2007***

A departing storm system will trigger light to occasional moderate showers across SoCal during Wednesday morning.

Showers may continue into the afternoon over some mountain locations.

Another system will bring a few showers to the region beginning late Thursday.

Rainfall amount from this system will be much lighter than Tuesday's system.

Gusty offshore winds are expected late Friday through Sunday...then again on Christmas Day.

This will result in warmer temperatures and mostly clear skies over the weekend into the first part of next week.

Winter begins Friday night at: 10:08pm/pst
