Warm inland areas this weekend
High pressure will intensify over the western states this weekend. This will result in an off shore flow that will bring warmer than normal temperatures to the valleys.A weak "eddy" will produce late night and morning low clouds and fog along portions of the coast. This will hold down some of the daytime temperatures in these areas over the weekend.
Some forecast high temperatures on Saturday...
Long Beach: lower 80s
Santa Monica: middle 70s
Del Mar: lower 70s
Ramona: upper 80s
Victorville/Hesperia: upper 90s
Beverly Hills/Century City: lower 80s
Van Nuys: middle to upper 80s
Redlands: middle 90s
Indio: around 104
Twentynine Palms: around 107
Barstow: around 108
High Pressure will expand early in the upcoming week. This will bring near record high temperatures for the inland areas by the Fourth of July holiday.
