Heavy rains/Possible Flooding/High Winds
A Pacific Storm will bring periods of heavy rain and possible flooding to the region tonight and Saturday morning.Hourly rainfall rates... coastal/valley and mountain areas may exceed 1/2 tonight into early Saturday morning.
Rainfall at these rates will have the potential of producing flash flooding, mudslides or debris flows.
Along with the heavy rains will come strong and gusty winds... in some cases gusts may exceed 60 mph over the mountains and portions of the central coast region tonight.
Another weaker "but colder" storm system move into the southland during the second half of the weekend. This system will bring more rain, winds and lower snow levels to the region.
