Cool and occasionally windy conditions into early next week

(Infrared Satellite Imagery)

*Updated at: 9:43am/pst, Wednesday, January 30th, 2008*

An inside slider to move through interior west Wednesday.

This system will produce a few light snow showers... mainly over the mountains Wednesday.

Gusty winds will blow... with the strongest winds over the mountains and deserts... where gusts between 50 to 75 mph are possible.

Also... locally gusty winds will blow over the Santa Clarita valley (where gusts up to 45 mph are likely).

Two more disturbances will brush the region late in the week and another over the weekend.

A few showers are possible with each system...along with gusty winds and cool temperatures.
