Off and on wet weather through the weekend
Update: 6:11am.pst Saturday. Jan. 05.2008
The main effect of the storm system on Saturday will be over the far south and eastern portions of the southland (Orange/San Diego/San Bernardino/Riverside counties).
Showers...heavy times (especially during the morning hours) will fall which may produce flash flooding and mudslides.
Then showers will begin to taper off.
Elsewhere across the southland... look for partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies with a few mainly light showers.
It will continue to be breezy to windy across the entire region on Saturday... with the strongest winds over the San Bernardino mountains and adjacent high desert region.
Another impulse will increase clouds over the southland Saturday evening then bring a chance of showers to much of SoCal later Saturday night through Sunday evening.
Precipitation with this system will be much lighter.
