Strong northwest flow will continue the gloom
A deep marine layer associated with the cool NW flow will continue the "June Gloom" like weather pattern from the coastal plain inland over the valleys and lower coastal slopes during the nights and mornings with only partial afternoon clearing expected through Tuesday. An upper level trough of low pressure will bring a small chance of light showers to the region beginning Tuesday night and part of Wednesday.
Looking ahead to the end of the week...
High pressure will bring a return to fair and warm weather to the southland.
